The Waas House is one of my favorite houses in the Historic District. The owners have told us that - because their house is so large and grand - some of our guests have mistaken it for our inn and tried to check in there. In the early part of the last century William T. Waas, the town doctor, bought the house and added a major Queen Anne style wing with a touch of Gothic Revival. It is one of the largest private residences in the Historic District.
