Our friends, Kevin and Cecelia McCarthy getting ready to go out on a tour this evening on the newest (2nd) member of their fleet of boats for Amelia River Cruises and Charters. Tonight they'd booked a private charter for a girls group celebrating "an important" birthday. They do several tours a day; our favorite is the two-hour morning tour because you can see more. They'll take you up the whole western coast of Cumberland Island (where John and Caroline Kennedy got married), where you can almost always see the wild horses on the beach. And if the dolphins are out, you'll see those too. We always caution our guests that the horses and dolphins are wild - they don't push a button to release them - so you may not see any, but the narrated history of Amelia Island and Cumberland Island is always great.
