...and the livin' is easy. Amelia Island kids are like kids everywhere; they just find a good place to drop a line and then enjoy the day. It seems to me that the kids around here have a few more fishing options than where I grew up, but we had a few more hills to climb. It's quite flat throughout most of the island. There's a slope in the middle of the island that the locals think is a hill, but if you're from outside of Florida, you'll know that it's just two extra pushes on the bike pedals.
