This gorgeous 1800's courthouse was completely restored about five years ago. In the "they don't build them like they used to" category, workers reported breaking numerous drill bits and other pieces of equipment trying to drill into the pine framing and floors. It was so tough that they couldn't drive nails into it. Eventually, technology won out and the results are magnificent. Come see the courthouse where William Jennings Bryan spoke.
