So I owe you four days worth of blog posts. I've walked every day but we've been getting some much-needed rain this week so the photo ops haven't been great and I've been protecting the camera from the rain drops most of the time. So I'm going to pull together a few photos that I've taken this week to catch you up to date on what's going on around town.
First: Amelia River Cruises will be starting a new water taxi service between Fernandina and St. Mary's, Georgia. It'll be going four times daily when they get the service started within the next few weeks. That will be particularly nice for our guests who choose not to rent a car. You can see more of the region and still just walk to the boat.
Next: There's a whole lot going on around town in October. We've got a week-long jazz festival starting this weekend, along with a really great book festival on Centre Street.
There was an authors' party at Books Plus tonight to kick off the Book Island festival and...
