Mother and child were practically getting blown off of the dock this afternoon as the winds kicked up with the approaching cold front. If we get the temperatures that they're predicting, we could see readings that we haven't seen in many years around here. Freeze watches are in effect for tonight and warnings for tomorrow night. They're usually off in their predictions for the island though due to the influence of the ocean temperatures on our climate. We'll bring the plants in anyway, and throw some old blankets outside for the stray cats. I'll let you know how it goes.
