This may not look like much at first glance, but if you look closely, you'll see lots and lots of Praying Mantis babies at the top of the green pole. They all hatched today. We put egg cases in the garden very year as a means of natural aphid control. In other words, these guys eat the bad bugs. Hundreds of them hatch but, as you can see by Mr. Lizard who is eyeing up the Praying Mantis buffet, most of them won't make it. Ah, the food chain. Glad I'm a little higher up.
