New Xeriscaped Garden

Here's Betty Morrell and her crew just putting the finishing touches on a new drought tolerant garden that we put in next to one of our cottages (that's being painted). We're working on turning more and more of our landscape into plantings that can withstand the local climate with its frequent drought and summer heat. Actually, those conditions are not unique to our area, so feel free to take some ideas from us. In fact, you can mark your calendars for the first Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast House and Garden Tour Saturday, May 10th. It will be a great Mothers' Day Weekend activity and you can come by and see how we're doing. In fact, Betty might just be there to tell you what we're doing around our place.
