As I was headed out for my walk this evening I noticed how green everything was in our yard. We had a few good days of rain last week - our first in months - and it really greened everything up in a hurry. Flowers are beautiful but I can also appreciate differences in foliage. We've got quite a few varieties on the grounds from shrubbery to ground covers, hedges, shade plants and ornamental grasses. They stay green year-round but they just "pop" in the spring.
