Mike and Sherry Garbarini, owners of Island Tobacco, are taking over the space that used to be Carolyn's that used to be Centre Street Cafe that used to be Shakespeare's Kitchen and will be making it into a beer/ wine/ coffee bar. It's due to open in the next month. Mike tells me that it will be a bar where you can listen to music and still have a conversation.
Here's Sheri showing the nice courtyard space that will give them a lot more seating and nice outdoor options for their patrons for the many, many nice days and evenings that we have year-round. We wish them the best of luck with their endeavor. We'll keep you posted about their opening.
