We started out with carriage tours on Christmas Eve and the couple of sprinkles that we had didn't dampen the spirits of the group at all - as you can see.
As the carriage tours were going on outside, the Ghost of Christmas Present made an appearance inside while we were serving heavy hors d'oeuvres. After that, everyone nestled all snug in their Fairbanks House comphy beds. And, hopefully, they didn't dream of ...
... their innkeeper who got up this morning ready to put on a great Christmas. Perhaps Grandma got run over by this reindeer.
And the staff arrives. Jordan, Chelsey and Alissa have always been fabulous figurative Christmas elves but they surprised us today by showing up to take on the literal roles. Well played, ladies.
And what Christmas breakfast is complete without Christmas crackers, crowns and Bill's pumpkin pancakes?
We're all in agreement; we've hit the trifecta.
And now the elves get a shot at the pancakes.
What the heck, let's make it a party.
And at long last, we head off to Christmas dinner having fully indoctrinated our guests into the Fairbanks House form of Christmas spirit.
